Turning off Windows error reporting in Windows 7

13 Feb

Every time a program crashes I get this popup. It’s quite annoying and Windows has never once found a solution. Sometimes this searching for a solution window is hidden behind another window too, causing more of my time to be wasted.

Anyway, in Windows 7, starts, the in the search for programs or file box, enter:

Choose how to report problems

Then click on ‘Choose how to report problems’ (with the flag icon)

The group policy option can be found under User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Windows Error Reporting and under Setting double click on Disable Windows Error Reporting.
